Painless Death!

In the quiet of twilight's embrace,

Where shadows dance in the night's space,

Lies a whisper, gentle and soft,

A departure serene, into the air.

No pain resides in this tranquil drift,

As souls from earthly bonds uplift,

A journey silent, stars as guides,

In peace, where gentle rest abides.

The heart's last beat, a tender sigh,

A painless farewell, no tear to cry,

In this calm passage, spirits glide,

To realms beyond, in grace they bide.

A lullaby hums in the evening breeze,

In painless death, the mind finds ease,

A calm voyage to the unknown,

In this final dance, softly sown.

In this death, no fear, no dread,

Just a serene path that all must tread,

In the arms of eternity's embrace,

A painless end, with delicate grace.

  1. I love poetry because I am a poet and there is always magic in word play. This is a nice one. Bravo!
